authorized by the Commission de la protection du territoire
agricole (CPTAQ). The only right recognized by a previous

building. However, the new municipal zoning by-law that
will come into effect next fall only allows agriculture.
The application for a possible residential permit must be
the subject of a special building by-law adopted by
resolution of the City Council, but adoption is not
guaranteed.
